NBA, Gospel and Jazz Great–the Piano Prophet–Ben Tankard’s son,
Ben Tankard Jr., aka Benji, who is already a college track star and Olympic hurdler trainee,
is also a rising star with Financial Destination Incorporated (FDI).
Yesterday, August 28, 2010, at the FDI Convention 2010 in Murfreesboro Tennesse,
Ben Tankard Jr. was just awarded the $10,000 First Prize in FDI’s pre-convention recruiting promotion.

Audrey Johnson:
Good Day. You are on The Audrey Johnson Show, and I’m standing here behind the scenes FDI Convention with Ben and his lovely son here. Why don’t you share with us how it felt yesterday to receive that ten thousand dollars, you just being here with FDI such a short time?

Ben Tankard:
Yeah, we been in here for only two months, and this is really Benji’s business. He’s a track star, and we didn’t want him to flip burgers. We wanted him to be in a company that would develop his mind while he’s in school; And in sixty days his life’s taken off. He won the prize last night, and won a car.

Audrey Johnson:
Awesome. Isn’t that fantastic to be a proud father with a handsome son over here to ramp up his own business… This is your own business, and you’re like twenty years old now?

Benji:
I’m like eighteen turning nineteen.

Audrey Johnson:
Nineteen…Eighteeen…and he started his own business. He’s already won ten thousand dollars at the FDI convention; And, what do you tell the young people out there about hands-free texting?

Benji:
“It is the best thing I did,” and then, “You get in. Why, hop in now.”

Audrey Johnson:
And what motivated you to say yes and come and join. Don’t tell me it’s your dad.

Benji:
Nah, I’s just wantin’ to try something new, and like I say, I didn’t want to flip burgers all the time in college,

Audrey Johnson:
Awesome, awesome. And Ben, I had the honor of sitting next to you yesterday, and had no idea of who I was sitting next to, but I felt so great because you’re so handsome; And I would keep looking over to you because I’m thinking, “Who’s this guy?” And then,–now I found out today who you are.

Ben Tankard:
Well, you know, it’s a pleasure being among great leaders like yourself, and there’s hope for Benjamin. It’s been energizing to be around other leaders, and I want to encourage your listeners and your viewers to remain positive, because if you remain positive, then you open your eyes and your ears to creativity. And, Why not you? This is America, and, Why not you? Why can’t you be successful? You know? There is somebody dumber than you, that’s richer than you. And so, don’t let that happen.

Audrey Johnson:
That’s right. You left us with some great quotes this morning. One of them about not quitting, not to quit. You said, “Don’t quit; Just keep going.”

Ben Tankard:
Yes, and just be yourself. I decided a long time ago to be myself, because everybody else was taken.

Audrey Johnson:
That’s right. Exactly. You know, the one thing I really love, and I wanted the viewers to know this. You mentioned, when you had that thing with Mr. Hilton.
And when you said, “How come you’re so busy? I just have one question: How do you do that?”

Ben Tankard:
“That’s only two businesses. I’ve got a hundred fifty three.”

Audrey Johnson:
I felt the same way, coming all the way from South America, having five jobs. Now I would say, I have several businesses with FDI. So, thank you for stating that again, what it’s all about: Don’t quit; Stick with it; Dedication, and having your family with you. Is there anything you want to say to those young people?

Benji:
Just work hard.

Audrey Johnson:
Keep working hard. I want to thank you guys for taking this opportunity to come down. What a pleasure! A joy!

Ben Tankard:
Yes. We’ll see you at the top.

Audrey Johnson:
Thank You. We’ll see you at the top.

Ben Tankard:
Bless you.

Audrey Johnson:
Bless you.
